Dr. Dorin Coffler
She was a summer camp counselor and scout leader before she was a dentist. That tells you everything about how she treats kids.
She loved kids long before she ever picked up a dental mirror.
Dr. Dorin Coffler grew up in San Diego as one of four sisters. Her love of caring for children started early — helping her parents with younger siblings, leading activities as a YMCA summer camp counselor, and guiding kids as a scout leader. She was adored by children and their parents alike long before the dental degree was in the picture.
She earned her Biology degree from UCLA, then went to the USC School of Dentistry where she graduated with the highest honors. While at USC, she volunteered with the Mobile Dental Clinic — traveling across California to bring quality dental care to children in underserved communities. That kind of work doesn't stop being part of who you are when residency starts.
Her training culminated at Yale University, where she completed her pediatric dental residency treating children of all ages, including those with complex medical conditions. Yale-level training, San Diego warmth. The combination works.
Outside the office, Dr. Coffler stays active with pilates, spends time at the beach (she's a San Diego native, it's practically required), and loves experimenting with new recipes. She brings that same spirit of curiosity and care into the treatment room every day.
