Dr. Olga Alvarado is a board-certified pediatric dentist who earned her Bachelor's degree from New York University before pursuing dentistry. She attends multiple continuing education courses every year — not because she has to, but because she genuinely wants to stay current with the most modern advances in pediatric care.
Her clinical excellence is what gets families in the door. Her approachability and charisma is what makes kids and teenagers eager to come back. She is fluent in English and Russian, and conversant in Spanish, which means she connects with patients in a way that feels like a conversation rather than an appointment.
She grew up in New York and traded the East Coast for San Diego's outdoor lifestyle — and has no regrets about the trade. Sun-soaked year-round activities will do that to you.
On her days off, you'll find Dr. Olga paddle boarding with her labradoodle Micah or cruising around Mission Bay on a beach cruiser. Micah reportedly does not help with the paddling but is excellent company.
